Tim is the president and founder of TBA Douglas. A licensed professional architect, Tim has over 22 years of design, development, and project management experience. Supervising the execution of complex projects, he works closely with client representatives, construction managers, general contractors, and specialty consultants to ensure the successful completion of his clients’ projects.
Andrew, former president of Douglas Architects, brings 33 years’ experience in a broad range of professional practice areas including municipal planning, urban design, commercial development, hospitality, adaptive reuse, and historic renovations. His skills cover all aspects of the architectural practice in areas of management, planning, design, and construction, with a focus on meeting clients’ needs, providing creative design solutions, and adherence to schedules and budgets.
His recent experience includes high profile projects like The Witte Building, Rosario’s, Texas Research & Technology Foundation (TRTF) Phase 2 Lab Facility, Merchant’s Ice Buildings, Merchant’s Garage, City of Seguin Wells Fargo site redevelopment, The Neue mixed-use development in New Braunfels, and the Basilica of the Little Flower masterplan and restoration.
Andrew headed up the City of New Braunfels Castell Street vision plan, City of San Antonio programming and design build documents for the new Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center; the City of San Antonio Vertical Circulator design/documentation; the City of San Antonio Walters Street Corridor master plan; the LEED Silver-certified Guasti Office Building, located in Ontario, California; the Clear Channel Worldwide Master Plan and IT Center; and Boeing’s cafeteria and front entry building. Andrew has completed several multi-million-dollar downtown renovation projects such as the Hyatt Regency San Antonio renovation, the Hilton Palacio del Rio renovation, and has completed the design and construction of the award-winning 300 Houston project (Walgreens) on historic Houston Street.
Melissa M. Douglas, AIA has 35 years of experience in architectural design and documentation, with an extensive background in architectural programming, feasibility studies, assessments, space planning, and designing attractive interiors. Detail oriented, Melissa listens to her client’s needs and goals, and strives to truly understand the users of a facility, making sure that what they need and where they need to be is documented and provided, so that those issues become part of the finished product. Using her observational skills, along with her experience in material selection, performance and durability, she helps make spaces not only functional, but beautiful as well.
Melissa is familiar with many building types, new construction and renovations, as well as retrofitting the “spaces left behind” when new buildings are added, and departments relocate. Her experience includes universities, transit, police facilities, hotels, restaurants, libraries, museums, office buildings and retail. A native Texan, Melissa graduated from UT Austin and worked for several internationally known architecture firms in Rome, Boston, and Dallas, before settling to San Antonio.
Monty’s 40 years of active professional experience includes leadership of the K-12 Education practice area with a large and nationally celebrated San Antonio architecture practice—and he brings that wealth of expertise to TBA Douglas. His work has been focused on primary and secondary education projects, with extensive participation in planning and design for related sports facilities. The balance of his experience includes commercial, office, retail, restaurant, higher education, master planning, student life, athletic and recreation projects. His knowledge covers every aspect of project direction, delivery, and client engagement across San Antonio and South-Central Texas. His experience extends over more than 120 projects encompassing planning, master planning, programming, and design, as well as administration of all phases of construction delivery. Monty’s professional commitments extend beyond project work with engagement in, and leadership of professional, community, neighborhood, and civic organizations.
Several of Monty’s projects have been recognized by TASA/TASB as well as A4LE/CEFPI and the San Antonio Conservation Society.

Rich supervises TBA construction projects. A state-licensed general contractor, Rich joins the TBA team with 30 years of experience in providing project management and pre-construction services for commercial construction projects. Rich safeguards the successful execution of TBA’s projects, from construction initiation to completion, through overall project management, quality control, budget management, client communication, and development and leadership of TBA’s construction administration team. Rich is also OSHA 30 Certified and CPR/AED/First Aid Certified.
Donna has been on the TBA team for over 15 years and serves as chief operating officer and special advisor for educational projects. In her role as executive administrator, Donna is responsible for contract administration, business development, and relationship management, as well as daily operational duties.
Meredith is the chief financial officer of TBA Douglas. She joined the TBA team in 2023 and has been instrumental in managing the financial and human resource aspects of the company.
Meredith has a wealth of experience in accounting, financial planning, budgeting, business process development, and systems implementation. Meredith came to TBA after her 28-year career at a Fortune 500 telecommunications and technology company where she developed and mentored many professionals in her field.
As the CFO of TBA, Meredith oversees the accounting, finance, and human resource functions for all TBA locations. She is responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the company plus any merger and acquisition activity. She handles the treasury functions, such as invoicing, payments, capital requirements, cash management and liquidity requirements.
Clint is vice president of operations for TBA Studio’s West Monroe, Louisiana office, with over 18 years of architectural experience as a team member of TBA. He has a passion for creating the built environment and is responsible for directing the design process and ensuring the quality of all projects. Clint is highly involved in the design process and has extensive experience in programming, construction documentation, estimating, scheduling, and coordinating of projects from conception through construction. He works directly with all consulting engineers to insure the successful coordination of all drawings, and has experience with major renovations, additions, and new construction of facilities of all types. Clint has also been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2011.
Lisa is vice president of operations for TBA Studio’s Bossier City, Louisiana office. She brings over 18 years of architectural experience as a team member of TBA. Lisa strives to provide innovative designs to fit the unique needs of each project. In addition to Lisa’s experience in estimating, programming, design, construction documents and construction administration of projects, she has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience working hand in hand with clients, contractors, consultants, administrators and maintenance personnel to ensure a smooth project from start to finish. She understands that communication is a top priority and that the first step to a great project is to listen.
