BDA Spay & Neuter Facility

Under Douglas Architects’ IDIQ Contract for Brooks Development Authority, DAI was hired to provide full architectural design services for a new, low cost, spay and neuter facility.

With a challenging budget, DAI’s design, with its simple, gable and overhanging roof, met the project’s programmatic requirements and provided a covered, outdoor seating area off the side yard for patrons to wait for their pet, or for neighborhood pet owners to enjoy.

DAI rearranged the client’s original entry design to provide additional office and storage area within the building’s already efficient layout, and provided a design that is forward looking for the rapidly developing neighborhood.
